Friday, April 26, 2019 - Drove to Johannesburg and visited of God’s Window and Bourke’s Luck Potholes

Today was a traveling day to get to Johannesburg.  On the way we stopped by the God’s Window. However, the weather did not help.  When we tried to see the beautiful view which has inspired and awed thousands of painters and photographers from all over the world, the misty and foggy weather prevented us to see anything at all.
Then we visited Bourke's Luck Potholes which is a series of waterfalls and distinctive rock formations created by countless millennia of water erosion before.  This place is definitely a Kodak moment spot.

Then, we arrived at Johannesburg in the late afternoon.  We checked into Protea Hotel Fire & Ice Melrose Arch, Melrose Arch is a gated community with hotels, restaurants, a mall, and many shops.  According to our guide, Johannesburg is a city with people moved from all countries in Africa to seek opportunities.  However, with 38% of unemployment, some of them resulted in crimes to make a living.  He strongly suggested us not to get out of this gated community.
We had dinner in a typical South African restaurant Moyo.  I had ox tail and it was very tasty.
