Monday, April 29, 2019 - Guided Walking Tour of the Victoria Falls

In the morning, we did a walk at Zimbabwe side to view the Victoria Falls.  There are 16 view points to see different Falls. We were told to enjoy and take as much of pictures as we want from view point #1 to view point #8.  After view point #8, there would be too much water and it would be hard to take any pictures.  It was true.  We were able to see the Devil’s Cataract (70 meters high), Main Falls (93 meters high) and Horseshoe Falls (95 meters high).  We were able to take many pictures.
Later, we saw Rainbow Falls (108 meters high) and Eastern Cataract (101 meters high). However, the wind was blowing from the north and it made us hard to see the Falls.  It also make us impossible to take pictures.  Later we were told that if the wind did not blew from the north, then we will have a much better chance of viewing the 2nd half of the Victoria Falls.  Everyone was totally wet, however, it did not discouraging us to complete the walk and viewing the Falls as much as we can.

After lunch, the hotel staff did a feeding of vultures. It was an amazing sight.
In the afternoon, we had choice of optional tours. We chose the helicopter ride.  It was only 12 minutes, however, we were able to view the whole Falls from the top and had opportunity of taking air view photos. It was impressive.
