The tour bus drove through Johannesburg city and went directly to Soweto - the most metropolitan township in the country, setting trends in politics, fashion, music, dance, and language. The neighborhood is not safe for tourists, therefore we only drove through and listened to the explanation from our local guide.
Then we visited Nelson Mandela’s house and the Apartheid Museum. Apartheid Museum is a wonderful museum with a lot of history about South Africa, however, it is a very emotional experience of seeing it.
